Monday Five Countdown

I like having this list to do on Mondays, which are crappy. It makes me really think about what I am so lucky to have, and makes my day more positive. I am linking up over at Bookish Penguin, so go check her Monday 5 out, too!

Five Things I'm Grateful For:
5. A roof over my head....especially last night during the monsoon that hit at 3 a.m.!

4. My family, on both sides...but especially my mom and dad. I love them so much and they are everything to me!

3. My job. LOVE where I work, and the people I work with!

2. My health. I always complain about how I have a headache, or I am tired...when so many people have it so much worse than me.

Four Things I Can't Stop Thinking About:
4. Homework. Statistics. They are both LAME.

3. Money. Always.

2. Making curtains for my living room.

1. Our BRAND-NEW leather furniture that we paid for in CASH!


Three Things I Hope To Accomplish This Week:
3. Finish making throw pillows for our new furniture

2. Keep my housework/laundry caught up

1. Make at least a B on my Stats test on Friday! (Say a prayer for me!)


Two Things I Am Working To Be Positive About:
2. My Stats class. I HATE it, I hate math. But, I am trying to have a positive, *I CAN DO THIS* attitude.

1. Family stuff.


One Random Thing:
I got an email this morning from the Corporate Offices at Hill's Science Diet, saying that I won a drawing to receive free dog food for a whole year!!!!! We will get a 30 lb. bag of dog food once a month delivered to our doorstep! I am not going to have to buy dog food for over a year! I will save over $150 this year on dog food! WHOO-HOO!!!!!!!!

That's exactly why I started it. I found that I was complaining too much on Mondays - so much so that I was hating listening to myself. I find that forcing myself to think of more things I'm grateful for than those I'm annoyed about really makes a difference.
